Abstract
It is hard to believe that 2020 is drawing to a close. Although being one of the most challenging years for both South Africa and the world, it has also provided opportunities to innovate, reflect and change our way of thinking. All over the world, companies and employees switched to working from home and communicating via Zoom and Teams. Universities and tertiary institutions were no different, and have had to develop new ways of transferring knowledge and assessing students via online platforms. However, like all crises, this year has given us the opportunity to learn more and generate new knowledge.
